This hotel is absolutely lovely and has a lot of beautiful details. We had one of the tiny rooms which was nice even without an outside window. The best was the pool and view on the rooftop and the location could not be more central. Also the service was very kind! The hotel was just newly opened a month ago which is the only reason for the so far quite few reviews. We can only highly recommend.

Location is everything with this hotel, right on Calle 59 in the midst of the beautiful UNESCO site of Campeche. ROOM The rooms were adequate, small bathroom but this is normal. Although resolved, the room had coffee cups missing and when the room was cleaned it looked like they had been interrupted as the old pillowcases were left and the water, biscuits and creamer weren't replenished. However, I must emphasize these were resolved. COMFORT The bed was comfortable, the room size and position of the AC unit means that the unit blows straight onto the bed (room 3), the AC is absolutely necessary because the room window looks into the centre of the building stairwell where all the external AC units are, so it's VERY HOT. The AC position meant I felt unwell in the morning. AMENITIES The WiFi broke on our second day and wasn't repaired before we left, this was quite inconvenient. ROOFTOP POOL &BAR We didn't use either, although we did sit up there to drink our coffee. The gentlemen there were super friendly sorry didn't get their names but they even recognised us on the street and wished us well. The view up there is excellent. STAFF Sharon, Darcy and Anna were great, all with good English and friendly. Thanks to Anna for ordering us a taxi to the bus station.

Had a great stay at Casa Puerta De Mar. We booked the family suite, massive room with 4m high ceilings, great sofa and good light. Shower was pretty dismal but nothings perfect. Little lounge pool on roof was a great way to cool down. They have a drinks station with coffee and teas plus biscuits which is nice. Location is brilliant, on Calle 59 so lots to do, 5 min all from Tren Maya light rail station and the sea. 10-15 walk to the central market.

The Good: - Spacious family room with balcony and views over the car free street below. - Refreshing rooftop pool - Coffee, chamomile tea and biscuits downstairs - Good aircon - Great location Bad: - Cleanliness on arrival - Dirty cups and the bathroom (toilet) rubbish bin hadn’t been emptied after the last guests. - The shower - room temperature (cold) water that only came out of about 10 holes of the shower head and in various directions. - The room is advertised as being 80sq meters but it’s more like 50m. It still feels spacious and has ample room but it’s not what is advertised.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Incredible location, right on the famous Calle 59. No brekkie hut good coffee and tbh I chose it for its staff reviews as I wanted advice to travel and the hotel didn’t disappoint - Darcy was the absolute best. Incredible English super friendly and really helpful. I didn’t get as much super from the others so thank you to Darcy, you really made my stay a great one!! If the hotel is reading this, give her a pay rise, she’s really great!
